New Canadian introduction with outstanding foliage colour. Forms a vase-shaped, upright clump of blue-green foliage. Tips begin to turn blood-red in the summer and by fall the entire plant is saturated in wine-red. Sprays of reddish flowers in mid-summer followed by tan seedheads. Sturdy and attractive all winter. Very eye-catching. Can be grown in full sun to partial shade in almost any type of soil except water logged. Drought tolerant once established. (4-5')
