Rarely offered and quite unusual. Broad, flat, blue-green leaves flushed with silvery grey that could almost be mistaken for Hosta foliage. Produces very large, lavender-pink, round flower heads held on short stalks in June. Surprisingly fragrant. Not at all oniony. Will go dormant by the end of July and retreat underground. Best grown in sun to part-shade in well drained soil. Will mutiply from year to year and if you are lucky even produce some seedlings. (15")
