Mount Everest Allium

Aptly named statuesque variety. On stout upright stalks it bears large (10 cm) spheres compost of white, star-shaped flowers. Blooms continuously for a month or more in May-June. Best grown in full sun and fertile, well drained soil. Will mutiply from year to year and naturalizes easily.
IMPORTANT - Cut back the flower stalk when the bloom is spent but leave the foliage as it feeds the bulb for next years flower. Foliage can be gently removed once it dies back completely. At this point the plant is dormant. Mark the spot so you know where it is.
