Geranium cinereum 'Giuseppe'

Geranium cinereum 'Giuseppe'

Dwarf Cranesbill

Zone 4 - 9

Forms a neat compact mound of small, deeply cut, gray-green foliage. Smothered with single, magenta-purple flowers with dark veins from May through July. Will continue to bloom sporadically till late summer if spent blooms are removed. Foliage becomes flushed with red in the fall. Can be grown in sun to part shade but does best if kept out of the hot afternoon sun. Requires good drainage and hates winter wet which can be deadly. Low maintenance perennial when well sited. In cooler summers blooming may continue until September. Great choice for containers, the rock garden or the front of your border. HEIGHT: 15-20 cm SPREAD: 30-40 cm
