The Tayberry is a cross between blackberry and raspberry. It resembles an elongated, dark red raspberry, however it is juicer and has a sharper flavour. Tayberries are great eaten fresh and also can be used for jams and wine production. Berries ripen in July to August. For the best fruit production grow it in full sun and well-drained soil. It does like to be well-watered in the first year but in subequent years will be reasonably drought tolerant. Tayberries are pest and disease free. HEIGHT: 125-150 cm SPREAD: 60-80 cm
