Low growing, native, perennial with masses of bicolour flowers from early to late spring. Cheerful blooms have dark purple upper petals and light blue lower petals. Small white centre. Small, deeply divided foliage resembles a bird's foot. Best grown in full sun and well drained, dryish soil. Hates winter wet. NOTE: Not as easy to grow as most violets. Make sure it has good drainage. HEIGHT: 10-15 cm SPREAD: 10-15 cm
