White Forsythia
Zone 4 - 9
Not a true Forsythia but very similar in most ways. Rounded, compact shrub covered with masses of fragrant, white, starry blooms with a purple throat in early spring -- one of the first to bloom. Very pretty and a nice change from yellow Forsythia. Easily grown in full sun to partial shade and average to moist, well-drained soil. Prune hard after flowering to maintain shape and increase bushy, branching. HEIGHT: 150-175 cm SPREAD: 125-150 cm
