We cannot reserve your plants until we have received your payment (bank transfer or cheque) or payment information (visa, mastercard).

Plants are brought in specifically to fill your order. Please do not cancel plants or your order after March 31st. This courtesy would be appreciated -- otherwise we are 'stuck' with your plants.

We guarantee that your plants will arrive in good condition. If there is a problem with your plants on their arrival, please let us know within 48 hours and include images so we can better understand the problem. Please note that if you live in a remote area we cannot guarantee the good condition of your plants unless they are shipped via Express Post. If you have any questions on this please do email us.

We guarantee that our plants are true to type. If the plant is not true please send an image. No returns are required.

Due to the variability of the climate and growing conditions we cannot offer an extended warranty on the plants. However if you need gardening advice please do email us.

We cannot guarantee that your order will arrive or be available on a specific day.

Every effort is made to provide the plant size as specified in the catalogue. However on occasion plants may be larger or smaller in size and the price will vary accordingly. Price and/or size may change without notice.

When the plants are shipped you will be notified and given the Canada Post tracking information. It is important to track your shipment and be prepared to accept delivery whether it is to your door, PO/community box or carded for pick-up as described in the tracking information. It is critical to accept delivery in a timely manner and get the plants out of the box. Unfortunately we cannot extend any guarantee if the shipment is not accepted when delivered.

Making A Purchase All prices are in Canadian Dollars. We ship anywhere in Canada. Unfortunately due to the high cost of shipping and also further restrictions at the border, we can no longer ship to the United States.

You can order on-line for shipping or for pick-up. Please specify in the shipping instructions (or send an e-mail) if you would like to pick-up your plants. A 10% discount will be applied to your plant order if you can pick them up. The discount does not apply to gift certificates.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge your card until we are ready to ship, or until your plants are ready for pick-up. You may send your credit card information securely through the catalogue, or you can also call in your information. Please note that we can not reserve your plants until we have received payment. Please keep us up to date if your credit card or shipping information changes.

We also accept cheques and bank transfer. You can transfer your payment to chris@canningperennials.com. If you choose either of these two payment methods please note that your order is not complete and we can not reserve your plants until we have received your payment -- and it will be processed immediately. IMPORTANT NOTE - If you are a first time customer placing a large order we may require a deposit or process your payment on receipt of the order.

AVAILABILITY OF PLANTS

Plants will commence shipping as soon as weather permits and the plants are ready -- usually beginning in early May. If you would like to delay receiving your plants or will be away in May please email me well before May 1st.

We can hold your plants to ship later in the season, but unfortunately due to weather and availability we can not ship plants sooner.

Please note that we are not a big box store. Some quantities are limited. Plants are reserved and shipped on a first come, first served basis. The catalogue goes on-line February 1st and gardeners start ordering immediately. If you place your order later in the season we do make every effort to ship on a timely basis however there is definitely a que of orders. Your patience is appreciated. Generally all orders are shipped by the first week in June at the latest.

Shipping And Handling SHIPPING OPTIONS

You will be given a choice of shipping method -- Expedited Post or Express Post. If you reside in an urban area in Ontario, Quebec or Manitoba, Expedited Post is an economical and safe method of shipping your plants. If you reside outside of these areas we strongly recommend that you select Express Post to ensure that your plants arrive in good condition. Please note: If you live in a remote area and select Expedited Post, we can not guarantee that your plants will arrive in good condition. If you live in a remote area, we strongly recommend that you select Express Post.

BC, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Nunavut and NWT - sorry, the only shipping option is Express.

MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Many customers have us write specific delivery instructions on the box. For example: "LEAVE AT FRONT DOOR" or "LEAVE ON BACK PORCH". This is a great idea. Make sure the parcel is left in a secure spot out of the weather. Usually Canada Post will follow the instructions on the box but not always.

Ontario residence also have the 'shipping option' to PICK-UP their plants. There is a 10% discount for all pick-up orders which will be applied when the order is invoiced.

Back Orders Generally we do not backorder plants.
Tax Charges All Canadian residents are subject to GST or HST.

Credit Card Security Our catalogue is secured by SSL.

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. VERY IMPORTANT; Unlike most companies, your credit card information is never held on a remote server for more than 24 hours.

DO NOT E-MAIL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. E-mail is never secure. The catalogue is the most secure and convenient method for providing your credit card information. You can also call in your information.
