Hungarian Bear's Breech

Forms a large clump of spiny foliage set with dramatic flower spikes of hooded pink blooms in mid-summer. Quite spectacular. Best situated in sun to partial shade in well-drained, fertile soil. Not suitable for exposed sites. Similar to Acanthus mollis but larger and reportedly overwinters more consistently. HEIGHT: 75-100 cm SPREAD: 50-75 cm
