Doll's Eye, White Baneberry, White Cohosh

Native woodland plant rarely offered. Forms a clump of finely cut blue-green foliage set with oblong sprays of white flowers in the spring. These will produce white berries with a black eye. Stalks thicken and turn red as the season progresses. Best grown in partial shade in good humusy soil. Lovely with ferns, Hosta and other woodland plants. Important Note: The berries are poisonous.
