Doll's Eye, White Baneberry, White Cohosh

This new hybrid is similar to the species but is more compact and also hardier. It forms a clump of finely cut blue-green foliage set with oblong sprays of white flowers in the spring. These will produce white berries with a black eye. Stalks thicken and turn brilliant red as the season progresses. Best grown in partial shade in good humusy soil. Lovely with ferns, Hosta and other woodland plants. Important Note: The berries are poisonous. HEIGHT: 60-90 cm SPREAD: 60-90 cm
