Compact woodland native plant with blue-green, divided foliage set with sprays of white flowers in the spring. These produce glistening, blood-red berries later in the season. Quite showy. Best grown in partial shade in good humusy soil. Lovely with ferns, Hosta and other woodland plants. A more compact plant than its cousins. Important Note: The berries are poisonous.
