Bushy, compact plant with strong, upright stalks bearing masses of soft lavender-violet, downfacing bell flowers with flared openings. Very free flowering and will bloom from early summer right into the fall. Deadhead to encourage reblooming. Flowers stalks are held well above the foliage. Puts on a great show plus it is also fragrant. Sure to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. And it is deer resistant. Prefers a spot in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.
