One of the loveliest ferns. Delicate appearance. Produces a thin, wiry, dark-brown stem which is topped by a very lacy, fan-shaped frond. Over time the fern will expand into a dense clump creating an umbrella-like effect. Slow spreading. Best in part to full shade and moist, humus soil. Also tolerant of a sunnier situation provided it does not become too dry. This well-behaved fern is ideal for the border, rock garden or smaller garden. HEIGHT: 30-50 cm SPREAD: 30-50 cm
