Giant Hyssop

This is a wonderfully aromatic perennial that will remind you of licorice or aniseed everytime you brush by it. Giant Hyssop is a garden classic producing long, blue open flower spikes from July into September. It is a favourite of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. In the winter it is very popular with chickadees, sparrow and junco who love the tiny black seeds. This is an easy perennial for full sun to partial shade and ordinary garden soil. A tried and true perennial loved for decades by gardeners. HEIGHT: 60-90 cm SPREAD: 50-60 cm
