Purple Giant Hyssop

Not your average Hyssop! This rarely offered native grows to imposing heights. It has strong, upright stalks sporting masses of pale purple flowerspikes from July to October. Will flower a second time if spent flowers are removed. This nectar rich plant is very attractive to pollinators, butterflies and humminbirds. If you desire a more compact plant cut it back by a quarter in early June before the buds are formed. Easy to grow in full sun and average to dry, well-drained soil. HEIGHT: 125-175 cm SPREAD: 50-60 cm
