Vigorous, upright perennial with rounded, hairy, light green foliage producing tall, sturdy stalks set with masses of showy, large, single, deep blackish-purple flowers. Long flowering from mid-to-late summer. Bred to be resistant to rust. Easily grown in full sun and average, well-drained soil. May require staking if planted in exposed sites. HEIGHT: 150-170 cm SPREAD: 60-70 cm
