An improved garden classic. Shorter and more compact selection. Vigorous, upright perennial with rounded, hairy, light green foliage producing tall, sturdy stalks set with masses of showy, large, double, two-toned flowers which are cerise-pink with soft-pink ruffled edges. Blooms from mid-to-late summer. Bred to be resistant to rust. Easily grown in full sun and average, well-drained soil. May require staking if planted in exposed sites. Double Hollyhocks are generally short-lived but will self-seed freely if allowed. HEIGHT: 80-90 cm SPREAD: 30-45 cm
