Dependable and very drought-tolerant Native perennial. From grass-like foliage emerges a stiff stalk bearing clusters of nodding pink or white flowers in mid-summer. Attractive to pollinators and hummingbirds. Edible bulb with a strong flavour. Will seed freely to form a large colony over time. Prune after flowering to encourage new growth and prevent excess self-seeding. Easily grown in full sun and light shade. Great for naturalizing.
