This showy ornamental produces vivid, purple-pink, globe shaped blooms throughout July and August. It is very easy to grown in full sun to partial shade in average to dry, well-drained soil. An adaptable plant that unlike other forms is not know to reseed. Produces a compact clump of glossy, thick, strap-like, green leaves which remain attractive all season, It is disease and pest resistant and also said to repel deer and rabbits.
