This old fashioned favourite is very drought tolerant and thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is a low-growing plant with felty, grey-green foliage which is set with sprays of golden yellow blooms in mid-spring. Slow to spread. More of a clump-former than a groundcover. Ideal for the rock garden or front of the border. Shear it back after it blooms. The foliage looks nice all season. HEIGHT: 20-30 cm SPREAD: 30-50 cm
