This is an exceptionally hardy shrub with multi-season ornamentation and interest. It produces masses of fragrant, white flowers in the spring followed by sweet, black-purple fruit which is good to eat -- or you can make jam or jelly. Grey green foliage turns brilliant yellow and red in the fall. Dwarf, upright, mounding form. Very easy to grow in full sun to partial shade and tolerates a wide variety of soils. Drought tolerant once established. A Xeriscape plant. Great for attracting birds to the garden. Useful as a specimen or even as a hedge. Prune after flowering. HEIGHT: 125-175 cm SPREAD: 200-250 cm
