Turkey Foot Bluestem

Gorgeous, tough ornamental which is also very hardy. Forms a dense, tidy clump of upright, stiff, thin, ribbon-like foliage which is dark green flushed with red highlights in the spring. As the season progresses the red increases and by fall the grass is ablaze with firey reds and burgundy.
If that isn't enough in late summer it produces lovely silvery, fluffy seed heads which turn deep burgundy-purple. Can be grown in sun to partial shade. Once established very tolerant of dry, poor soil conditions. HEIGHT: 150-200 cm SPREAD: 60-100 cm
