White Pasque Flower
Zone 2 - 9
AKA Pulsatilla vulgaris 'Alba'. Compact perennial with lovely fern-like, silvery foliage adorned with single, white blooms with yellow stamens. A mature plant can produce 30 or more blooms from early spring to early summer. Flowers are followed by attractive, fuzzy seedheads which persist for a long time. Pulsatilla varieties tolerate a wide range of soil conditions and are quite drought tolerant once established. They can be grown in full sun to part shade. After flowering do not remove or cut back the seed head because they offer ongoing, unique appeal. This is an easy to grow perennial which is also pest and disease free. Very hardy and can be grown throughout most of Canada. HEIGHT: 25-35 cm SPREAD: 20-30 cm
