Arabis has been around forever, however it is still an excellent choice for the rock garden or front of the border. It is a low-growing plant that forms a dense carpet of felty, grey-green foliage and is smothered with lightly fragrant, deep pink blooms in mid-to-late spring. It is easy to grow in sun to part shade in reasonably, well drained soil. Shear it back after flowering and enjoy the lovely evergreen foliage for the rest of the season. HEIGHT: 15-20 cm SPREAD: 30-60 cm
