A showy ornamental which is also an important plant for the Monarch Butterfly as well as other varieties. In mid-summer it produces large, flattened clusters of bright orange flowers. Followed by interesting seedpods. Prefers a sunny, well-drained, fertile location. Easy to grow but must be protected from winter wet. Native to Ontario. HEIGHT: 30-60 cm SPREAD: 30-50 cm
