Violet-blue, daisy-like flowers on a low-growing, compact mound. Early blooming mid-to-late summer. Needs a sunny, well-drained site. Perfect for the rock garden or front of the border. A showy ornamental which is also an important plant for the Monarch Butterfly as well as other varieties. In mid-summer it produces large, flattened clusters of bright orange flowers. Followed by interesting seedpods. Prefers a sunny, well-drained, fertile location. Easy to grow but must be protected from winter wet. HEIGHT: 20-25 cm SPREAD: 20-30 cm
