This Astilbe will be sure to brighten up your shade garden. Lovely, lacy, chartreuse foliage which is flushed with red. Foliage greens a little by late summer. Produces tall stems with pink plumes in mid-summer.
Prefers light to moderate shade with average to moist soils. Astilbes may burn if planted in full sun. Deep shade tolerant but will not flower as prolifically. Water plants during the summer especially if there is less than average rainfall. Extented drought periods will lead to browning of the foliage and may result in foliage drop. After flowers finish, prune spent flowers off and lightly shape the foliage to encourage new growth. HEIGHT: 50-60 cm SPREAD: 55-70
