This large Astilbe produces tall arching, salmon-rose flower plumes from early-to-mid summer. Ferny, sharply-toothed, rich, green foliage. Prefers light to moderate shade with average to moist soils. Astilbes may burn if planted in full sun. Water plants during the summer especially if there is less than average rainfall. Extented drought periods will lead to browning of the foliage and may result in foliage drop. After flowers finish, prune spent flowers off and lightly shape the foliage to encourage new growth. HEIGHT: 65-70 cm SPREAD: 50-60 cm
