A beautiful, robust perennial with lacy, deep, blue-green foliage flushed with red highlights turning burgundy in the fall. Strong, upright stalks are deep red and bear panicles of salmon-red buds which open to reveal apricot-pink flowers. Blooms are followed by deep red seed panicles. This is a highly ornamental plant providing all season interest. Flowers in early summer. Prefers a moist site in part to full shade. Keep out of the hot afternoon sun.
