Proven Winners perennial. Definitely a WOW ornamental with unique bicolour flowers. Flowers start out soft yellow and age to raspberry purple -- both colours appear on the charcoal-coloured stem at the same time. Has a very bushy, upright form with lovely green foliage. Flowers from late spring to early summer. Blooms are followed by attractive black seed pods. Reasonably drought tolerant and will perform well in ordinary garden soil, in full sun.
