This unusual perennial is sure to bring bold colour to your late summer garden. Clump- forming sword-like foliage produces stout stalks bearing a profusion of brilliant orange blooms with heavy red speckling. Flowers for several weeks in late summer followed by interesting seedpods which when they open reveal clusters of black seeds resembling blackberries. Seeds persist throughout the winter. Best grown in full sun and average, dryish soil. Attractive to butterflies and also a good cut flower. HEIGHT: 45-60 cm SPREAD: 30-35 cm
