Heartleaf Bergenia

Smaller round to oval, leathery, evergreen leaves which turn reddish bronze as the season cools in the fall. Produces a great show of snowy white flowers on sturdy stems from April-May. Bergenias will tolerate a wide range of soils, lighting and moisture conditions but prefers partial sun, moist and rich humus soils. Bergenias are evergreen so only remove damaged and tattered foliage as necessary. HEIGHT: 30-45 cm SPREAD: 40-50 cm
