Low spreading shrub with glossy, dark green foliage which turns brilliant red in the fall. Produces small blue berries in mid-summer. This all season interest shrub is related to blueberries. Best grown in full sun to partial shade in acidic, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. A great slow growing groundcover. Spreads about 15 cm a year. Great for eating or attracting birds. HEIGHT: 25-30 cm SPREAD: 50-80 cm
