Aptly named shrub prized for its highly ornamental violet-purple berries which it produces in great abundance in the late summer and early fall. Emerging foliage on this bushy shrub is bronzy-purple turning dark green as the season progress. Set with clusters of lavender flowers in the summer. For best flowering and fruit grow this shrub in full sun and average to moist soil. HEIGHT: 150-200 cm SPREAD: 150-200 cm
