A unique cherry shrub developed by the University of Saskatchewan for Canadian gardens. Compact, dwarf and exceptionally hardy it produces large, dark red to black, sweet cherries from early to mid-August. Excellent for eating fresh. Cherry Shrub is best grown in full sun and average moist soil. It is very tolerant of urban pollution and will thrive in city environments. HEIGHT: 200-250 cm SPREAD: 175-200 cm
NOTE: Great as specimen accent or even at the back of the border.
