A unique cherry shrub developed by the University of Saskatchewan for Canadian gardens. Compact, dwarf and exceptionally hardy it produces large, deep crimson-red sweet cherries in late August. Excellent for eating fresh. Cherry Shrub is best grown in full sun and average moist soil. It is very tolerant of urban pollution and will thrive in city environments. HEIGHT: 200-250 cm SPREAD: 175-200 cm
NOTE: Great as specimen accent or even at the back of the border.
