WOW! This is a new introduction from Proven Winners. It is a bushy, non-vining perennial that is completely covered with bright blue, bell-shaped flowers in May and June and will rebloom into the later summer season. Flowers are followed by highly ornamental, thread-like, seedheads which persist well into the fall. This is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that will die back to the ground in the winter. Cut it right back in the spring as you would other perennials. The plant does need some support -- obelisk, cage or stakes. This is a very hardy, adaptable perennial that can easily be grown in full sun to partial shade and any reasonably decent, well-drained garden soil.
Note: Colour of blooms -- soil ph and the amount of sunlight can effect the colour of blooms particularly the 'blues'. HEIGHT: 85-95 cm SPREAD: 60-90 cm
