This is a clump-forming plant rather than a vine. Forms a mound of big, sturdy leaves set with stiff stocks bearing hyacinth-shaped blooms ranging in colour from pale to deep blue. Scented. Quite unusual. Easy to grow in sun to part shade. A true perennial. Cut if back to the ground in the fall or early spring. HEIGHT: 85-90 cm SPREAD: 85-95 cm
Colour of blooms -- soil ph and the amount of sunlight can effect the colour of blooms particularly the 'blues'.
