Summersweet, Sweet Pepperbush

Upright shrub with glossy green foliage which turns golden-yellow in the fall. Set with masses of long, fragrant, deep pink flower spikes for many weeks in the summer. Followed by ornamental seedheads which persist through the winter. Easily grown in sun to part shade in a wide variety of soil conditions including wet places. Tolerates shade and salt. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. HEIGHT: 175-200 cm SPREAD: 100-150 cm
