Giant Wood Fern

One of the tallest, native ferns. Very hardy. Native to Ontario. Excellent upright form with light green fronds on long, wiry stems. Slow spreading by shallow underground rhizomes. Best grown in part to full shade in good moist soil. A great companion for some of the other giant shade plants we are offering like: Astilble Mighty Chocolate Cherry, Brunnera Alexander's Great and Hosta Jurassic Park. HEIGHT: 100-120 cm SPREAD: 50-60 CM
