Coneflower
Zone 4 - 9
Recent introduction from Darwin Perennials. Upright, well branched and compact plant set with masses of rich, deep orange coneflowers from June through September. Vigorous and quite hardy.
Easily grown average to moist, well drained soils in full sun to part shade. Quite drought tolerant once established. Very adaptable to heat and poor soils. Taller cultivars may grow leggy and require staking if grown in dense shade. Regular deadheading is recommended but not necessary to increase bloom time. It just improves general plant appearance. HEIGHT: 55-60 cm SPREAD: 45-50 cm
