A rare perennial -- the only coneflower species which is yellow. Native to Arkansas and Missouri but easily grown in Ontario. Flowers have slightly drooping yellow petals and a pronounced brown centre cone. This clump-forming plant can be grown in full sun to partial shade in moist to dry soils. Quite adaptable and excellent for naturalizing. Loved by butterflies, bees and birds. HEIGHT: 60-90 cm SPREAD: 30-40 cm
