This is an improved version of the old classic. Outstanding ornamental producing a profusion of large (up to 7" across!), deep pink blooms with a distinctive raised, bristly cone centre. 'Magnus Superior' forms a large, bushy upright clump. A great butterfly plant. Excellent cut flower. Low maintenance, easy to grow perennial for sun to part shade in any good garden soil. Tolerant of drier soils as well as winter wet. Wind resistant and never requires staking. 'Magnus Superior' is one of my all time favourite perennials. It is totally dependable and consistently out performs many of the newer fancy varieties. There is a lot to be said for 'tried and true'. HEIGHT: 90-100 cm SPREAD: 90-100 cm
