Blue Globe Thistle

Gorgeous and unusual, sun-loving perennial. Forms a bushy clump of deeply cut, dark green leaves with a silvery underside. Thick, upright, silvery-white stalks bear a profusion of hard, bristly, intense blue spheres the size of golf balls. Although its common name is Globe Thistle it is not prickly. Outstanding ornamental with great contrast. Easily grown in full sun and dry to medium, well drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Disease and pest free. Loved by butterflies, hummingbirds and pollinators. Also a great cut flowers. HEIGHT: 60-90 cm SPREAD: 30-60 cm
