Unusual and very striking. Blooms begin as hard, bristly spheres that transform into a mass of deep blue florets. Great foliage -- lobed with sharp points -- mid-green on the upper leaf and white on the underside. Blooms in mid-to-late summer and the dried flowerheads are interesting throughout the fall. This bushy perennial is very easy to grow in a sunny location, in ordinary garden soil. Undemanding and drought tolerant. HEIGHT: 100-125 cm SPREAD: 60-70 cm
