Plume Grass, Hardy Pampas Grass

A giant grass that can grow up to 3 m tall. Coarse, reed-like grass with huge, white, woolly plumes in late summer, which are almost 60 cm in length. Tan seeds in fall. Foliage turns bronzy-orange to purple in the fall. Great autumn and winter interest. Best in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Ideal as a screen, hedge or giant accent. HEIGHT: 150-300 cm SPREAD: 125-300 cm
