Incredible! A hardy edible fig! Shrub-like plant with dark stems and attractive lobed foliage. Will bear sweet edible figs in the autumn. Vigorous. In Zone 5 the upper part of the shrub may die back to the ground and resprout from the roots in the spring. Best to plant in a protected location and mulch. Prefers sun to part shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Once established will be drought and heat tolerant. HEIGHT: 3-4 m SPREAD: 3-4 m cm
