SpinTop Series Gaillardia are dwarf, compact, sturdy plants with excellent branching. They begin flowering much sooner than other cultivar -- in late spring -- and bloom continuously right until the fall. 'Red' produces masses of large, solid red, daisy-like blooms with a burgundy red raised centre. Easy to grow in a sunny, well-drained, dryish location. Drought and heat tolerant once established. Attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds and pollinators. Good cut flower. HEIGHT: 30-35 cm SPREAD: 30-40 cm
