Tall, swaying sprays bear wine-red buds which open to rose-pink flowers with white stamens. As the flowers mature, they turn a deeper pink. Very showy. Long flowering from early summer until mid-fall. Does not need staking but will always be moving, bending, swaying. Excellent cut flower. Loved by butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers average to moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Good drainage is essential to overwinter successfully. Tolerates heat, humidity and some drought. Prune hard in late spring to encourage a bushy, compact growth. Remove spent flowers to improve overall appearance but not neccessary for extending bloomtime. HEIGHT: 60-70 cm SPREAD: 60-80 cm
